Visited yesterday and ordered a combo hot pot consisted of shrimps, pork ribs, chicken and crab meat. The decoration is impressive, reminding people of the golden days where bird cages are hanged up on the restaurant ceiling. However, most of the clientele are teenagers who might not be able to appreciate such. Compared to the Scarborough store, we find the food expensive. After all, it was just veggies and meat dumped to a hotpot which we can easily repeat at home. The cook time was much faster than the Scarborough one though, and the food seem to taste better. The sauce was way to salty though. We asked the waiter to stop after he put one-third of the prepared sauce in. He still put in two-thirds anyway, and we had to pour half a jug of water into the pot to make the food less salty. For almost $30 per person without voucher, we won't be returning.
看了推送广告去吃的，说是周一至周四去有惊喜做活动，其实就是骗人。去了根本没有，没有打折更没有惊喜。本来也是奔着“黄记煌”这个牌子去，这样搞噱头有点自降身价吧。我们桌服务生很业余，点了虾，鱼豆腐，牛腩和鸡翅。说实话食材太一般，虾不新鲜略带苦味，鸡翅品质也是超市最差的那种。只有牛腩和鱼豆腐还不错，牛腩带筋还蛮好吃，倒是有些出乎意料。加的泡饼很厚，感觉是凉了好久的，不推荐。从味道来说中规中矩吧，其他两家冒牌货没吃过也不会去吃。这家应该是正店，但是属于也不会让你有冲动去第二次的餐馆。价格以食材品质来说略高，两人吃了一个锅加泡饼，没加火锅要50多刀。
